Standing at the old oak barrel, surrounded by shaking desks lit by candlelight, the smell of sandstone/history - this is where the Stengel sparkling wine is born.

Otto and Gretel Stengel opened their Besenwirtschaft in 1963 in the rooms of Wilhelm Stengel's former wine bar until 1995. Ellen, Horst, Carolin and Lisa are now continuing in the original ambience from back then.

Own slaughter - large selection of home-made Swabian specialties, such as Maultaschen, Buabespitzle, bratwurst, head meat, kettle broth, fresh salads, winemaker burgers, tarte flambée, home-baked cakes and many other fine dishes - of course always to match our wine and sparkling wine creations.
